According to the official CELIMO website, CELIMO is the leading brand of Jiangsu General Science Technology Co., Ltd. It designs, develops, manufactures and sells high-performance tyres for a wide range of applications.
The CELIMO portfolio covers passenger cars, commercial and truck transport, mining and construction equipment, agricultural machinery and motorcycles. For ATC trade, the key focus is the TBR category for trucks, trailers, buses and professional B2B operations.
Production, development and global coverage
CELIMO presents the use of modern manufacturing technology and smart factory capabilities. The brand exports to more than 100 countries and regions, including the US, Europe, South America and Southeast Asia.
According to the official presentation, parent company General Science has three global production bases, production facilities in Thailand and Cambodia, more than 400 authorized patents and 11 R&D labs and test grounds.
Selected milestones
- 2004: production launched for the first all-steel radial truck tyre, 10.00R20.
- 2011: CELIMO was named one of the Top 10 Influential Chinese Tire Brands and, according to the brand, remained on the list for the following six years.
- 2017: the passenger car tyre PCR range was officially launched.
- 2018: 215/50ZR17 GA5 received green product designation from MIIT in China.
- 2020: CELIMO received AA rating in the National User Satisfaction awards.
- 2024: CELIMO was listed in China's 500 Most Valuable Brands in 311th place, with a brand value of 33 billion yuan.
